Blue / Silver Pearlscale Angelfish can contain a mixture of blue or silver combined with pearlscale iridescence. The blues show in different angles of light, especially in their fins. They normally have two black stripes on their bodies, but can have some black around their eyes and on other areas of the body. The black stripes will appear darker as they continue to age. The blue hue will also continue to enhance in different lighting as they age. The silver is very prominent. Our freshwater angelfish are one to two inches in size, disease-free, and backed by our live arrival guarantee. Add these exceptional angelfish to your collection with confidence!
Behavior: Generally peaceful but can become territorial, especially during breeding. Diet: Will thrive on a varied diet including high-quality flake or pellet food, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms.
Tank Environment: Requires a tall tank of at least 30–40 gallons to accommodate its vertical swimming space and long fins. Our adults are approximately 4-6 inches when fully grown. Provide a well-planted tank with plenty of hiding spots and open swimming areas to mimic their natural habitat. Avoid housing them with fin-nipping species or overly aggressive tank mates. A school of four to five will require a minimum of 55 gallons to provide plenty of space to swim. Angelfish kept in overcrowded conditions require more frequent water changes to keep the water quality high.
Temperature: We keep warm temperatures between 78-82°F in our tanks.

Shipping
To protect our fish we only ship next day air. We only ship on Mondays due to our full-time jobs. Temperatures can not be near 40 or below in the shipping and destination areas. In the event of bad or inclimate weather we will reach out to you. We guarantee that our fish will arrive alive. Unfortunately, sad things happen. A bag could bust or a package could get delayed. We will do everything we can to rectify the situation. IMPORTANT: If there is a problem with your shipment when it arrives, please reach out to us within one to two hours of the arrival time. Send us pictures or a 20-second video of the fish in the sealed bag. Give the bag a shake to show that the fish are not moving. Any other information such as box condition, temperature of the bags is helpful for us to find out what happened. If we do not hear from you, we assume that the fish arrived healthy. Failure to send the required picture within one - two hours of delivery voids all guarantees and refunds. If we hear that the fish did not arrive healthy in the proper amount of time, we will reship any DOA fish until you receive the fish you ordered alive and well.
Receiving your fish
The fish may be stressed and not show much color right out of the bag. Once fish begin to acclimate in their new environment, they will begin to show their true colors. They will need to spend a few days in a stress-free environment for their colors to return.
Quarantine Procedures
It is best to quarantine your new angelfish from other fish that you have. Not properly quarantining could result in your fish passing away. Bacteria and or pathogens can be present in low numbers waiting to attack recently transported and stressed fish. Do not place your fish into pure or deionized water, it could kill them.
Acclimation Procedures
As soon as your fish arrive be prepared to start the acclimation procedure. Have safe buckets, siphons, nets, and a quarantined tank with an established biologically active filter ready to go. You can either float the bags or drip acclimate. Leaving the tank light off is recommended during their initial introduction period.
Feeding
Do not feed them for 24-48 hours. When you do start feeding, start off small.
We have been feeding the following items:
Live Brine Shrimp, Flake & Granular Dry Foods.
